About the Event

Join us for a 3 part series exploring Fermentation, that one magical process that transforms the chemistry of food, helps preserve it and makes it delicious! We are talking coffee, cacao, dairy, veggies, tea and grapes - in three separate conversations each day we take you through a journey of some unique ferments and their delicious results.

You can book 1 session or all, as per your interest.

Session 1: Coffee, Cheese, Chocolate

10:30 am - 11:15 am | Dec 16th & 17th, 2022 | INR 750 (+taxes)

Coffee, Cheese, Chocolate - they start out as very different things, beautiful as they are, without the fermentation they wouldn’t be enjoyable. We take you through the journey of 2 coffees, from the same estate, processed (fermented differently) and the results would be for you to experience. With each of the coffees we will pair a plate of cheese and chocolate.

Session 2: Gut health & Probiotics

4 pm - 4:45 pm | Dec 16th & 17th, 2022 | INR 750 (+taxes)

Gut health & Probiotics, two words we cannot escape amongst myriad other such terms. What does it mean? How do we navigate the plethora of gut friendly foods and supplements? A chat and Q&A with the founder of Purple Brewery, Sonia.

We end with a sampling of cheese, paired with fermented condiments and kombucha.

    Session 3: Wine & Cheese

    7 pm -8 pm | Dec 16th & 17th, 2022 | INR 1500 (+taxes)

    Our last session of the day is one that we hear so often wine & cheese! We will explore why wine & cheese go so well together and what makes a good pairing. We will de-mystify pairing as we taste a plate of cheese and condiments paired with a red wine. 

    Throughout the tasting we will discuss, flavours and aromas, how the terroir has a significant impact and how fermentation is key to flavour development in both the wine & cheese.
