About the Event

A couple of months back our Co-Founder, Anu, had been out there visiting the land of Gouda, a town in the province of South Holland and brought back cheese from the local markets and we shared it with Chennai cheese lovers during Edition 1 of 'Taste of Gouda'. Earlier this month, we had an opportunity to source some beautiful Dutch cheese again and we want to share it all with you, hence Edition 2! 

Gouda is a sweet, creamy, yellow cow's milk cheese originating from the Netherlands. It is one of the most popular cheeses worldwide. The name is used today as a general term for numerous similar cheeses produced in the traditional Dutch manner. We will delve deeper to understand how and why this small country is the largest exporter of cheeses in the world.
