About the Event
Here's your chance to spend a day at the beautiful Vrindavan Farm and learn how to make Artisan Cheese while you gaze at the scenic beauty of the charming Organic farm tucked away in Palghar, about 130 km northeast of Mumbai. This day long immersive experience will be conducted by internationally certified cheese maker, Namrata Sundaresan of Kase Cheese in partnership with Gaytri Bhatia of Vrindavan Farm and Kainaz Messman of Theobroma Patisserie.

You can expect the sessions to be highly interactive along with practical demonstrations.
Session 1: Introduction to Cheese Making
- Understand Milk and it’s Composition
- Basic Science of Cheese Making
- Get a sneak peak into a mind boggling array of Cheese
Session 2: Cheese Making I (Queso Fresco with a spice mix)
- Learn the Basics of Cheesemaking and Explore a specific Cheesemaking technique
Session 3: Structured Approach to Cheese Tasting
- Namrata will guide you through an elaborate tasting taking you from milder to sharper cheeses.
- The Tasting will be done in 3 courses where 6 to 8 Cheeses will be paired with suitable Breads, Crackers, Condiments
- Fresh: Cream cheese, Ricotta, Goat cheese
- Young: Manchego, Provolone, Sunburst
- Mature: Cheddarg, Banon, Blue
- Participants will be looking at a Flavour wheel to understand and identify Aromas and Flavours.
Session 4: Cheese Making II (Halloumi with Mint)
- Learn the Basics of Cheesemaking and Explore a specific Cheesemaking technique
Farm style Lunch
Session 5: Cheese Making III (Mozzarella)
- Learn the Basics of Cheesemaking and Explore a specific Cheesemaking technique
